Where do I begin?!?

January 4, 2011

My dear dear sister and friend Dusty has asked me to join her in the blogosphere!  Not only am I honored, I’m also incredibly flattered!  Thank you Dusty, I’d join you in just about anything.  Just about!

Let me just start by saying that I’m a very GREEN blogger, so please be kind. 🙂 I’ve got a lot to learn for sure but am excited to do so.  I was sharing with Dusty earlier that I feel like a little kid that has just stepped into the unknown and I can’t wait to get started!

Passion seems to be an understatement when it comes to describing my love of knitting.  Keep in mind I do NOT claim to be a professional knitter, or even seasoned for that matter.  Knitting skills, like most things in life, will continue to grow and flourish for me.  I tend to be a slower learner by my standards but I learn fully.  For example, I picked up a hat pattern a while back and I’ve knitted 7 of them…just to make sure I understand it well. 🙂

Confessional:  I don’t like to brag about myself or my work.  In fact, I’m afraid of it.  I believe with being a part of this blog, I’m going to have to overcome some of that.  As with many things I’m fearful of, I’m sure that will prove to be an opportunity for growth and I look forward to such things these days. 🙂

That concludes my very first blog post!  More to come in the near future!  Stay tuned!
