Who doesn’t like tips and tricks?  I have a couple that I find invaluable and thought I’d share them.

When knitting in the round, I have a big jump on my first join round and it drives me batty.  Here’s a solution:  Cast on an extra stitch and knit the first and last stitches together on the first full round.  This makes the jump virtually invisible.  Nice, eh?

Secondly, I put my working pattern in a page protector and use a dry-erase marker to make notes and keep my place in the pattern.  Simple, yet very useful!

I hope you all have a wonderful knitterly weekend!
